Jennifer O'Dell

Often compared to a young Sharon Stone, Jennifer O'Dell is well on her way to becoming a household name. One rarely finds an accomplished actress with as many natural, learned talents and skills as California-born Jennifer O'Dell. Jennifer first achieved fame as the lead in Television's "The Lost World" where she played jungle-clad Veronica. She spent three years in Australia filming the popular TV series.

In this past year alone Jennifer shot several up-and-coming films. Her most recent film, "The Man Who Came Back", is a period piece shot in Texas. Working with co-stars Armande Asante, George Kennedy, Billy Zane and Sean Young was a pleasure and educational experience. Earlier this year, director Michael Landon Jr. cast Jennifer in his upcoming film, "The Redemption of Sarah Cain." Jennifer stars as the evil and pretentious Madison. The film also starred famed actor Elliot Gould. Jennifer also heated up the screen as the lead role opposite Judd Nelson and Vincent Spano in the independent psychological thriller, "Nevermore".

Filming on location in Puerto Rico, Jennifer starred as the female lead in the sci-fi channel movie "Slayer". She starred opposite Casper Van Dien. Her Los Angeles resume includes a new pilot called "NSA Innocent", introduced by the executive producers and writers of the television hit "24", opposite Jason Behr and Mark Rolston. She also guest starred on the comedy "Out of Practice" alongside Henry Winkler, as well as "CSI: Miami" with David Caruso and "CSI: New York" with Gary Sinese.

Jennifer grew up in Hawaii. At the age of eight, her parents moved their family to Southern California. She dreamed of being an actress, and with her new location in Tinsel Town , her dream took fruition. Almost immediately her mother helped Jennifer break into the entertainment industry. While still a young child, Jennifer landed principal roles in commercials and started professionally training for a film career.

Jennifer took a hiatus through high school to enjoy her youth, but soon after graduation pursued her dream of a professional working actor. She immediately began booking roles on shows such as "Beverly Hills 90210" and "The Profiler" In 1999. she booked her first series regular on the television series "The Lost World". This elevated Jennifer to a different level of her career and opened doors to auditions on today's most popular shows.

She has had starring roles in "Nip/Tuck", "The Closer", and also a recurring part on "General Hospital" as a classic femme fatale, Lana James. Jennifer's singing and dancing talents have been spotlighted in music videos with the Backstreet Boys and David Charvee.

Her role in "The Lost World" required Jennifer to perform her own stunt work. Thus, she learned stunt and combat fighting. Two more skills to her already long list of talents. Jennifer loves being fit. She's proficient in kickboxing, water and jet skiing, horseback riding, and she can dance your socks off.

When she's not practicing yoga or tossing footballs, you might find her batting on the baseball diamond, dribbling on the basketball court or snow skiing the slopes somewhere. Of course, that is if she's not in the gym lifting weights or on a bicycle, teaching someone the art of spinning. Yes, Jennifer is also a certified spin bike instructor.

Jennifer O'Dell's primary certification, however, is voiced by the many directors with whom she has worked; her co-thespians; and a growing number of fans - she is a professional and talented actress. Living her dream has made her happy professionally and personally. Her most rewarding joy next to her career is her family. Jennifer takes pride in calling herself mom to her two-year old little boy, Logan. She's a full-time single mother and Logan has brought a depth to her life that has enriched her in many ways.
